Theatre Direction

THEATRE DIRECTORS

Philip Dart is a highly experienced practitioner who has directed everything from conventional, fourth wall dramas to plays devised and scripted through improvisation.  He has directed productions for a variety of spaces, including London Fringe venues, European theatres, cathedrals, open air sites and major touring venues: working on a wide range of scripts, from classical play texts to new plays by young writers. Philip particularly enjoys collaborating with designers and choreographers to create imaginative, physical theatre pieces.

Claudia Leaf's directing credits include three large scale, open air Shakespeare productions as well as productions for rural and community venues, small arts centres and schools. She has often been called on to direct scripts that have grown out of interaction with a specific community, and she enjoys the sense of ownership that brings to the audience.
