THE RURAL ARTS FESTIVAL

Although we were already taking professional theatre to over 30 village halls and small theatres in Kent and Sussex, we wanted to give some of our venues the opportunity to host music events and theatre productions by other companies.  The Swale Rural Arts Festival successfully brought together the work of several musicians and three theatre companies.  It also gave children at a local primary school the opportunity to take part in an evening performance given by a visiting musician.
